What is HMB-Ca?

HMB-Ca is a supplement formulated with beta-hydroxy-beta-methylbutyrate (HMB), a metabolite of the amino acid leucine.

HMB is a compound produced as a result of the metabolism of the essential amino acid leucine. Leucine is one of the 3 amino acids that make up the BCAAS or branched-chain amino acids. Supplementation with HMB can be effective in decreasing muscle damage and protein breakdown. As a result, it improves the maintenance of muscle tissue.

HMB-Ca belongs to the Endurance line of supplementation, designed and formulated by Life Pro, especially for endurance sports.

The form of HMB used in Life Pro Endurance HMB-CA is in the form of calcium salt. 

Each serving provides 2.5 grams of HMB and 435 mg (54.4% NRV*) of calcium.
