Tengo una duda. Los youtubers profesionales de la nutrición entre otros se cansan de decir que él maltitol es malo, que no es una sustancia adecuada si algún producto lo lleva. Entonces, ustedes venden productos con esa sustancia como primer o segundo ingrediente. Me crea dudas a la hora de comprar sus cremas ya que lleva maltitol y ya no se si es un buen o mal producto. Gracias

Entiendo perfectamente su confusión al respecto. Es cierto que el maltitol en dosis elevadas puede producir efectos laxantes y molestias gastrointestinales. Estos productos son una alternativa más saludable a aquellos que tienen cantidades muy elevadas de azúcar. El maltitol tiene la ventaja de que no es cariogénico, aporta menos calorías y no produce picos de glucemia frente al azúcar, lo que no quiere decir que sea un ingrediente abusable.

Decir que un ingrediente es "malo" sin un contexto concreto sería algo precipitado, las cremas que contienen este edulcorante pueden ser una gran alternativa frente a otras si lo que buscas es un producto con menos calorías y que tenga un menor impacto sobre tu pico glucémico, la cantidad tolerable variará en función de cada persona y de si tiene alguna patología a nivel digestivo
