New Tasty Rice flavors. Discover the properties of pregelatinized rice flour

Life Pro Tasty Rice is an instant, pregelatinized rice cream. After being part of our product line for several years, we have added two irresistible and exquisite new flavors:

  • ProCao flavor
  • Choco Good Cookies flavor

In this post, we tell you all about the properties of pregelatinized rice flour, as well as its benefits and how to prepare it.

What is pregelatinized rice flour/cream?

When rice flour is referred to as pregelatinized, it is because it has undergone a process aimed at modifying the structure of the starch. During this process, the rice grains undergo cooking to modify their structure through extrusion (thermal and mechanical treatment).

As a result, the cream’s digestibility is increased, an excellent texture is obtained that does not require cooking, and preparation is instant.

Rice is characterized by containing complex carbohydrates with a high glycemic index. As a result, the energy boost provided by carbohydrates is fast. They help improve intestinal transit, and their satiety index is very high.

The benefits of pregelatinization:

  • Thanks to the texture it acquires, and because it does not require cooking, it is ideal for use as a base or thickener in recipes.
  • Its texture is very creamy, similar to porridge.
  • It improves the digestion process and helps prevent possible gastrointestinal discomfort.

Tasty Rice Life Pro

The new range of Life Pro Tasty Rice flavors:

  • You can now enjoy Tasty Rice in 6 different flavors. The two new flavors we have added are:
  • ProCao: the delicious cocoa flavor of the instant chocolate drink from your childhood. To achieve its flavor, we have used pure defatted cocoa powder and sucralose.
  • Choco Good Cookies flavor: the flavor of a combination of cocoa-filled cookies.

What is the difference between Tasty Rice and other rice flours?

Tasty Rice is the only rice cream that is assimilated by the body, with the lowest sugar content. The pregelatinization process improves its digestion and assimilation by the body, preventing possible stomach discomfort. Other rice creams/flours on the market, as they do not undergo the pregelatinization process, cannot be assimilated by the body.

And what about wheat flour?

Rice flour is an alternative to wheat flour that does not contain gluten. It may be a recommended option for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. On the other hand, rice flour has a higher nutritional value, with a significant amount of essential amino acids and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, and E.
