Life Pro’s participation in the Maratón de Málaga
Last Sunday, November 13, the 31st edition of the Maratón de Málaga was held in the city of Málaga. The distance to be covered was 21.097 km on an officially certified course, in which anyone over 18, whether federated or not, could also participate.
Life Pro Endurance is one of the official sponsors of this major event and was responsible for providing the official gels during the event. Endurance is a line specifically focused on and developed for endurance sports.
All registered participants received a gel (Energy Gel or Cyclo Gel) when collecting their race pack before the race, and a second gel at the refreshment station.
The characteristics of the gels:
Endurance gels are characterized by their very liquid texture, which means that no water is needed after taking them. Each gel provides 30 grams of carbohydrates. In addition, they have been formulated based on scientific evidence to ensure proper digestion for athletes without causing stomach discomfort.
Cyclo Energy Gel:
Gel formulated with cyclodextrin featuring the Cluster Dextrin patent and maltodextrin. It also contains sodium and is available with caffeine (100 mg) and without caffeine.
Energy Gel:
Gel formulated with fructose and maltodextrin. In addition, like Cyclo Gel, it contains sodium and is available with caffeine (100 mg) and without caffeine.
In addition, during the two days before the race, a stand featuring a wide range of products from the Endurance line was set up so that all athletes and companions could learn more about the brand or purchase new products, more gels, or even accessories such as the new 750 ml bottle.
The most notable products were the following:
- Gels, which could be purchased at a reduced price
- Hydra Pro, a perfect combination of carbohydrates and mineral salts for use during training.
- Recovery: a supplement designed to support the recovery process after training, containing Creapure Creatine, Glanbia protein, sodium, and different carbohydrates.
