Pomegranate extract (Pomanox®):
Pomegranate juice and extract are rich in polyphenols and flavonoids, which have various functions, such as antioxidants. Pomegranate extract may exert antihypertensive effects due to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has also been studied and researched because, as a result of its punicalagin content, it has cardioprotective and antihypertensive effects.
Fermented soybean extract (nattokinase):
Fermented soybean extract contains fibrin, a protein responsible for the formation of blood clots. Fermented soybean extract exerts an antithrombotic action, helping to reduce the risk of clot formation and improve blood circulation.
Different garlic extracts (dry garlic extract and black garlic extract):
- The dry garlic extract used has been standardized to 1%-2% allicin and alliin.
- The black garlic extract is standardized to 1% S-allyl-cysteine or SAC (the most abundant antioxidant in black garlic).
Allicin could be responsible for the lipid-lowering and antiplatelet effects associated with taking these extracts, as well as reducing the intestinal absorption rate of cholesterol.
Pine bark extract:
Pine bark extract has a high content of flavonoids and polyphenols. It exerts antihypertensive effects as a result of its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
