Life Pro Endurance’s participation in the Seville half marathon
Last Sunday, January 29, the 23rd edition of the half marathon was held in the city of Seville. As the official sponsor, Life Pro Endurance handed out 16,000 gels to all attendees, both in the race bag and at the refreshment station. Life Pro Endurance is a sports supplementation line focused on and specifically developed for endurance sports and the great demands they entail.
The distance of the course was 21.097 km, certified by the Real Federación Española de Atletismo, and all individuals over 18 years of age on that date were able to participate.
Life Pro at the race expo:
On Friday 27 and Saturday 28, the race expo was held at the Centro Deportivo San Pedro. This expo is where all runners collected both their race number and race bag, which contained the first Energy Gel provided by Life Pro. Access to this expo is free: both runners and their companions may attend.
In addition, on both days visitors could enjoy an exhibition featuring different brands from the sports world, including Life Pro Endurance.
At the Life Pro Endurance stand, a large number of products from this line were available, including gels with and without caffeine, bottles, supplements designed for recovery, isotonic products, salts, caffeine, and different product samples such as Recovery.
In addition, the Life Pro team would like to thank all participants for attending, as well as congratulate all those runners who were able to enjoy this new edition of the Seville Half Marathon.
The refreshment station:
At approximately kilometer 14, an additional 4,000 gels were distributed to the runners. The gels handed out at this station were characterized by containing 100 mg of caffeine per gel.
The characteristics of Life Pro gels:
Life Pro Endurance has two types of gels:
- Cyclo: made with cyclodextrin (Cluster Dextrin) and maltodextrin.
- Energy: formulated with maltodextrin and fructose.
Endurance gels are characterized by having a very liquid texture, meaning that drinking water after consuming them is not necessary. Each gel provides 30 grams of carbohydrates.
